What is Visionect CrashSense?

Crash notification sensor for use in vehicle fleet management applications and applications involving tracking driver safety. The offered sensor together with the usual vehicle tracking system automatically informs the fleet management company about an car impact (possible accident). The installation of the sensor as simple as plugging in a new car radio and plugs into existing vehicle tracking systems.

Why use it?

Visionect CrashSense crash notification sensor together with the usual vehicle tracking systems (GPS) creates so called automatic accident notification system (A-ANS). A-ANS performs a notification activity in potentially life-threatening situations. Information about an accident of a customer is immediately sent to Vehicle Tracking Control Centre of a fleet management company.

The sent/received information includes: customer coordinates, time of collision, force and direction of the impact (head-on, side, rear). After determining the nature of the situation (force and direction of an impact) system automatically dispatches emergency team (medical assistance or roadside assistance) to the exact location of the accident.

How does it work?

The offered crash notification sensor in combination with GPS tracking acts automatically (it is a fully automated process). In serious accidents rapid response greatly increases chance of survival.

The offered sensor will not alert at low impact accidents such as collision with shopping trolleys. Consequently false alerts are not possible.

The system is easily integrated into existing solutions and does not require any special knowledge for its usage. Implementation time is very short in comparison to existing solutions. It can be used as any of the shelf digital sensor
